Valerie Olmos
Valerie Olmos is a children’s book author and creator of the Fred’s Little Farm picture book series. As a mother to two daughters, she has read her share of children’s books and dreamed of one day writing her own. Pulling from fond memories of her childhood, Valerie created adorable characters based on actual family pets. Her books delight children and parents alike with their whimsical rhymes and colorful illustrations.
Valerie lives in sunny California where she spends her free time playing with her sweet Maltipoo, immersing herself in a good Netflix series or planning her next cruise vacation. She loves bargain hunting, going to the movies and enjoying a great glass of Sangria!

Jessica Olmos
Jessica Olmos is a children’s book illustrator who is currently collaborating with her mother on the Fred’s Little Farm picture book series. With a passion for drawing and a love for animals combined, Jessica’s illustrations bring a fresh new look to this fun and uplifting book series for kids.
Jessica also lives in sunny California. When she’s not drawing, you can usually find her lounging around with her beloved dog, Maddie, and cat, Miku. She also enjoys baking, visual novels and learning new sports.
